• Check your fluids once a week to ensure your vehicle has the proper levels to perform correctly.

Not having the right fluid levels could lead to poor vehicle performance and costly damages and repairs to your engine. If you do not know how or where to check these fluids you can always stop here at SunnySide or Valvoline who specialize in changing vehicle fluids. We will check all your fluids and top them off.

  • Schedule your vehicle to be checked right away if you hear or notice grinding noises coming from your brake areas.

Allowing your brakes to wear down to nothing will cause damage to your rotors and prevent your vehicle from stopping correctly.

  • Take time to winterize your car.

Replace your tires with winter or all-purpose tires, add no-freeze wiper fluid, and fresh anti-freeze.

  • Check your transmission fluids if you feel your car slipping or jerking.

When your vehicle is slipping or jerking any time it is shifting from one gear to another. Check your transmission fluids while the vehicle is running to get more accurate reading.

  • Change your tires when they fall below 2/32th of an inch.

If you do not have a tire gauge you can always use the penny method. If you stick a penny in between the grooves of the tire and the head of the penny is visible, it is time to change them out.
